Customer, Please be considerate

Lately I received A LOT of RESERVED but UNPAID orders.

Some customers contacted me or placed an order, they asked a lot of questions regarding the item(S) they're interested. As a seller, I'm more happy to answer questions/enquiries. And standing at a customer's side, I think it's totally alright for a customer to ask before they purchase, as they have the rights to do so. But what I cant really stand is when they had CONFIRM the order and asked me to reserved the item(s) for them, and PROMISE to make payment by a particular date. As stated in my store policy, I will only hold orders for 3 days. But because I want my customers to be happy shopping with us and I understand sometimes when our budget is not enough and you really like something, so occasionally I do hold orders for more than 3 days. But at the end, after more than 2 weeks of reservation, there were no payment made. And that's not the worst part, the worst part to me is when I try to contact them, (in case they forgot their order or they have any difficulties) by email, they will never reply. By phone, they picked up once (guess because they dint know my phone number), and once I told them I'm Bonnie from MyCheekyBoo, guess what? They will either keep quiet (I've got no choice to hang up), and when I call back again, they off their phone. So what do you feel is you're me?

When things like this happened, not only it caused inconvenience to me because I have to cancel order and re-edit my inventory to make sure it's taly, and also the possibility of me losing sales. See, when I reserved item(s) for customer A, I consider it sold although no payment is made but based on trust worthy, so when there is another interested buyer who would like to purchase, I would turn down as I already reserved for customer A. So when suddenly customer A did not pay for the order, it means I've lose 1 sales. It's difficult for us seller to contact the interested buyer already, as we already inform them the item is sold.

So I would very much appreciate customers to be more considerate when you shop at my store or any other estores too. If you have made a reservation, then please do not make any sudden change or simply cancel your order. Or else, please do not place order or make any reservation. Do understand I'm just running small business, so I hope customers appreciate my effort in trying to make them happy.
